Amanda Salas has been an Entertainment Reporter/Host/Anchor for over 16 years, currently as the Entertainment Anchor/Reporter on Good Day LA. She joined the FOX LA team in April of 2017, but you may have seen her on the nationally syndicated entertainment show, Hollywood Today Live, which also aired on FOX stations and My13 KCOP from 2014 - 2017 now known as Fox 11 Plus.

Amanda's career has taken her all over the world; from set visits to sit-down interviews, film, and tv junkets to award season coverage. Amanda's career began in 2008 working as an Entertainment and Feature Reporter for the Orange County Register, and since then has done it all...including battling and beating cancer in 2019.

She is a board member for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society which she has raised over $100k for, An ambassador for the Hyundai Hope on Wheels pediatric cancer non-profit organization, a film critic for The Critics Choice Association (serving on the Latino and Women's committees), a Television Academy member, and a proud dog mom of a rescue named January Bones. Animal Rescue is another cause near and dear to her heart, and she features rescue dogs and cats in need of homes on her weekly "Furry Friday" segment on Good Day LA. She is also a lover of puns, and calls herself a "Punsultant."  In 2021, Amanda became an International Pun Champion through The Punderdome competition.

In 2022, Amanda played a version of herself in 2 episodes of Marvel's She Hulk: Attorney At Law.

In addition, Amanda has a background as an Automotive Journalist, working for Time Warner Cable's Automotive on Demand, AutoTrader, and the SPEED channel. Cars, stars, and so much more!
