KJ Hiramoto is a Digital Content Creator at FOX 11.
Prior to joining FOX 11 in Los Angeles in 2020, KJ's stops in local news coverage include Charlotte, North Carolina (2016-2018) and Tampa, Florida (2018-2020). Before making the jump to TV news in 2016, KJ was a newspaper reporter covering high school sports and the public transportation beat in Seattle, college football in Atlanta and local news and high school sports in the western Carolinas.
Born and raised in Seattle, KJ is a diehard Seattle sports fan and cheers for his beloved Washington Huskies (Class of 2014). He's also an avid golfer and enjoys checking out art museums, LA food spots and describes himself as a "bleacher creature" at concerts and sporting events.
KJ's go-to karaoke songs are "September" by Earth, Wind and Fire and "Moscow Mule" by Bad Bunny. His In-N-Out order is hamburger animal style with whole grilled onions, chopped chilies and buns extra toasted. KJ's biggest I-just-moved-to-LA fails are butchering the pronunciations of "Los Feliz" and "Sepulveda Boulevard."
